5. CD-ROM XA (EXTENDED ARCHITECTURE): THIS FORMAT IS AN EXTENSION OF THE CD-ROM STANDARD AND IS OFTEN USED FOR MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING GAMES AND INTERACTIVE PRESENTATIONS.
